North Texas Cactus & Succulent Society

The North Texas Cactus & Succulent Society was founded in February 1974 to promote interest in, and knowledge of succulent plants, not only within the membership, but also among other plant societies and individuals. Our Society encourages the conservation of succulent plants in habitat as an endangered natural resource.

Cactus and Succulent Society of America The NTCSS is affiliated with the Cactus and Succulent Society of America (CSSA), and also with the Texas Association of Cactus and Succulent Societies (TACSS).

Our Society meetings are held each month on the first Tuesday, at 7:30pm at 9048 Royal Crown, Dallas, Texas 75243. Visitors are always welcome. At these meetings, we generally have programs on plant-related topics, a plant "show and tell" and a short business session.

We participate in local plant shows, we enjoy visiting collections of our members and we arrange occasional field trips to plant habitats.
