Most of the plants offered are native to tropical deciduous forest and as such require watering regularly during the growing season (when the soil barely dries out) followed by a rest of two to four months of dry conditions where very little water is given. This care regime is similar to cacti but requires more frequent watering and not as dry a dry spell as cacti require.
