PURPOSE: We are a non-profit organization of people from the State of Oklahoma interested in Cacti, Succulents, and other Xerophytic plants. We exchange information in organized programs and projects. Some of our topics are plant development, cultivation, conservation, and protection and propagation of endangered species.

NEWSLETTER: THE OFFSET

This is our monthly newsletter about our club and member activities including our next meetings, show dates, and news from other Cactus and Succulent societies from around the country.

LIBRARY: We have a very nice library of books about cacti and succulent plants. It is maintained by the club and available to members.

PROJECTS: The north wing of the Will Rogers Gardens Conservatory is 'home' to a very nice cacti and succulent collection. It is maintained by the members of the Central Oklahoma Cactus and Succulent Society. This exhibit is free and open to the public.

Our members have also helped with the re-landscaping of the indoor succulent plant collection of the Myriad Botanical Gardens in downtown Oklahoma City. In addition to volunteer work, we have also donated numerous plants.

We are also working with the Oklahoma City Zoo to help them build a collection of cactus and succulents.
