Grigsby Cactus Gardens has been growing plants for the collector since 1965. What started out as a hobby that outgrew the backyard is now an excellent source for new, rare and unusual cacti and other succulents. Located on 3 hillside acres in Vista, California, U.S.A., the nursery enjoys an almost perfect climate for growing these plants.

We grow most of our own plants from seed or cuttings. The plants we buy in are hand selected for the best form or spines. Our goal is to provide you with a bigger, better plant for a fair price.

There are many more species available at the nursery than can be listed on this website. There are several sizes of some species from 4 year old plants to 25-30 year old specimens. Most of the greenhouses are for propagation stock but there are three large areas with priced plants for your garden or your collection. If you are in the area, visit us, and pick out your own plants or just enjoy the gardens.

CACTUS SOCIETIES AND CLUBS

The best source of information is a cactus club or society in your area. There is always someone there that has solved any problem you might come up with. They also usually have a library of books for you to use.     If you don't know where the closest club is, contact:
