Aloe namibensis (Picture 566)

Aloe namibensis (Giess) is distributed in Central Namibia to Karibib-valley. It has grey leaves without a stem and the leaves are about 50 cm long. This photo is taken of one near Spitzkoppe on september 29th,1996 on the post-succulenta-1996-tour.

Flowers appear on a erect in florescence 100 cm high and are divided in 3-6 upright racemes of coral red flowers. Usually grow solitary or with divided heads forming clumps as you see on the picture.
